
Virginie Maisonneuve
Virginie Maisonneuve is the Founder of Maisonneuve Global Advisors and a preeminent investment leader with over 35 years of experience in asset management across the world’s major financial hubs, including London, Singapore, New York, Boston, and San Francisco. A pioneer of the "Quanta-mental" investment philosophy, the strategic fusion of fundamental research with quantitative data and AI, she has served in various Global Chief Investment Officer roles for some of the world's most influential institutions, including Allianz Global Investors, Eastspring Investments, PIMCO, Batterymarch and Schroders.
Throughout her career, Virginie has been at the vanguard of global structural shifts, notably in Thematic Investing, Sustainability Investing or as one of the first investors to launch a China equity fund for US institutional investors. Today, she advises boards and executive teams in asset management including on topics such as navigating Digital Darwinism and redesigning decision architectures to bridge the gap between human wisdom and technological innovation. A dual-expert in finance and leadership, she holds certificates in Executive Leadership from Oxford Said business school and AI & Business Strategy from MIT, and is a frequent contributor to global discourses on the long-term trends affecting the investment landscape and the future of Alpha.

Michael Fleshman
Michael Fleshman is a non-executive director of Maisonneuve Global Advisors and is a digital product and technology executive specialising in the transformation of world-class media brands and the scaling of start-ups. An MIT-trained leader, he has spent over 25 years bridging the gap between commercial growth, product development and technology.
Currently the Group CTO for The Economist Group, Michael has also architected and led major product and technology transformations as CTO at The Financial Times, BBC Worldwide, MTV Networks/Nickelodeon Online and AOL France. Michael also has experience in the financial industry leading development teams in Paris and London for AXA Investment Managers and has led interim engagements in UK commercial real estate, the education sector and several online video start-ups.
Michael has led product, technology, delivery and data teams in San Francisco, New York, London, Paris and Singapore and has built and managed distributed development teams in Indonesia, India, The Philippines, Thailand, China and Eastern Europe.
Like many CTO's, Michael is currently spending a significant amount of his time building teams to envisage the future of media in the Age of AI, incorporating AI into every aspect of the organisation, and evolving teams to become AI-native and adapt to emerging and materially different ways of ideating and creating digital products and services.
